The Relationship between attitude to career and technology course with entrepreneurial attitude of high school students in Tabriz

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between attitude to work course and technology and entrepreneurship attitude of high school students in district one of Tabriz in the academic year of 1997-98. To achieve this goal, a descriptive-correlation method was used. The statistical population consisted of all 15386 male and female high school students in district one of education in Tabriz in the academic year 1398-1989. The sample was 402 persons by random proportional sampling method from each of the three pillars. They completed the Ethayde Entrepreneurship Attitude Questionnaire 2009 and a researcher-made Attitude to Work and Technology lesson questionnaire. Structural equation modeling (SEM) with Smart PLS software was used to analyze the results. The results showed the relationship between work and technology curriculum and components of attitude to entrepreneurship. Explains attitudes toward work and technology (0.40 leadership, 0.56 achievement, 0.30 personal control, 0.42 creativity, 0.38 initiative). The high importance of a positive attitude towards work and technology in having a positive relationship with valuable components is leadership, achievement, personal control, creativity, initiative, so it is recommended to prioritize this cours.
