Abstract

Initial coin offering is one of the most innovative methods for crowdfunding in the, world which it has raised funds several times in compare traditional methods in a short span of time. In this method, businesses can invest in blockchain-based coins, which have a failure rate above 90% due to new and uncertain determinants of business performance. In this article, we analyzed 108 campaigns funded through initial coin offering during summer,2019. Finding show that unlike previous research on crowdfunding, quality of reference coding in Github, pre-sale, soft copy, lack of token supply in countries with blockchain-based transactions, and low initial bid price have the most impact.
