Internationalization pattern of University with an Entrepreneurial Approach (case study: Iranian Universities)

Abstract

Abstract
Internationalization is one of the most important indicators for universities, although many studies have focused on the internationalization aspects of the university, but the position of entrepreneurship has not been given much attention, even they don't give a comprehensive pattern of university internationalization with the entrepreneurial approach. The purpose of this study is fundamental research, in terms of how to obtain qualitative in data collection approach, with a design method of grounded theory, so by Purposeful sampling, 14 semi-structured interviews with experts in the field of entrepreneurship and internationalization of university have been held. Then by analyzing the literature review and an interview data by using primary and secondary coding in Atlas.ti 8, twelve (12) categories along with 35 codes have been identified. Concepts such as academic opportunities, the international environment are prerequisites for internationalization of the university with an entrepreneurial approach and finally led to the results such as dynamic capabilities, innovation centers, and international partnerships.
