Abstract
Objective: The present study was conducted with the aim of examining the effect of strategic intelligence on employee resilience and innovative behaviors, with knowledge sharing playing a mediating role, in the Gas Company of Bushehr Province. In today’s complex and dynamic organizational environment, organizations need managers and employees who possess high levels of strategic intelligence, organizational resilience, and willingness to innovate in order to maintain effectiveness, ensure continuity of operations, and create sustainable competitive advantage. In this context, knowledge sharing, as a key process for transferring experiences, ideas, and knowledge within an organization, can play a pivotal role in linking strategic intelligence to resilient and innovative behaviors. Therefore, the main objective of this study was to examine the direct and indirect relationships among these variables within the real-world context of the Gas Company of Bushehr Province. This can provide a more precise understanding of the importance of these variables in enhancing employee capabilities and improving organizational performance.

Method: This study is applied in terms of its purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of its nature and methodology. The statistical population of the study consisted of all employees of the Gas Company of Bushehr Province (400 employees). Using the sample size formula, 196 participants were selected, and to increase the validity of the study, 213 valid questionnaires were collected and approved for analysis. The data collection instrument was a standard questionnaire derived from valid domestic and international studies, whose validity and reliability were confirmed through statistical tests. After data collection, the obtained data were analyzed using SPSS Version 26 for descriptive analyses, including mean, standard deviation, frequency, and percentage, and SmartPLS Version 3 for testing the conceptual model and research hypotheses based on structural equation modeling. To evaluate the model fit, indices such as path coefficients, t-values, and overall model fit indices were examined. Accordingly, in this study, the relationships among the main variables were examined using the developed conceptual model and based on the data obtained from the questionnaires. After assessing the quality of the data and ensuring the suitability of the measurement instrument, the measurement model and structural model of the study were evaluated. Finally, the significance of the direct and indirect relationships among the variables and the mediating role of knowledge sharing were tested using the bootstrapping method.

Results: The results obtained from the data analysis showed that all direct paths between the research variables had t-values greater than 1.96, and the corresponding standardized coefficients were statistically significant at the 0.05 level. These findings indicate that strategic intelligence has a positive and significant effect on employee resilience and innovative behaviors. Furthermore, the results showed that knowledge sharing in the Gas Company of Bushehr Province, as a mediating construct, enhances and strengthens the effect of strategic intelligence on resilience and innovative behaviors. In other words, employees who possess higher levels of strategic intelligence have a greater tendency to exchange knowledge, experiences, and ideas with others, which leads to increased flexibility, adaptability under challenging conditions, and the emergence of innovative behaviors within the organization. Moreover, the results of the indirect relationship analysis indicated that knowledge sharing has a significant mediating role in the relationship between strategic intelligence and resilience, as well as in the relationship between strategic intelligence and employees’ innovative behaviors. These results suggest that possessing capabilities associated with strategic intelligence, through facilitating the flow of knowledge and experiences, can generate desirable outcomes for both employees and the organization. Therefore, knowledge sharing, as an effective mechanism, strengthens the relationship between strategic intelligence and the development of resilient and innovative behaviors.

Conclusion: The findings of the present study show that, in the Gas Company of Bushehr Province, strategic intelligence has a positive and significant effect on employee resilience and innovative behaviors. The findings also indicate that strategic intelligence has a direct effect on knowledge sharing. On the other hand, knowledge sharing, as a key component, plays a significant role in strengthening resilience and enhancing employees’ innovative behaviors. In addition, the results of the analyses showed that knowledge sharing has a positive and significant mediating role in the relationship between strategic intelligence and employee resilience and innovative behaviors. In other words, as the level of knowledge sharing increases, the effect of strategic intelligence on enhancing resilience and fostering employees’ innovative behaviors becomes stronger. These findings emphasize the need to pay attention to knowledge sharing as a strategic factor in improving employee resilience and innovation in the Gas Company of Bushehr Province.
